Arbitrage

Arbitrage does not use a bonus, which changes two things: the opportunities disappear faster, so you have to move quickly, and there is no limit on how many you can use. Here are the pros and cons, the kind of return per bet you are looking at, and a look at placing an arb, which looks almost exactly like placing a bonus hedge.

Unlike everything we have covered so far, arbitrage does not involve using a bonus. There are pros and cons to that.

The cons

Because you are not using a bonus, the opportunities exist for a much shorter amount of time. You need to be quicker when you place arbitrage bets. Instead of "use today", we tell you "use now", because the arb might not be there five minutes from now.

Each arbitrage card on the Hedges tab shows its return 1 and says Use now.

The pros

There is a lot of arbitrage every day, especially during football season and basketball season. And because arbs do not involve bonuses, you can use as many of them as you want. Ideally you can deploy your entire bankroll every day into arbitrage and similar opportunities.

You are making a 0.9% return, a 0.7% return, a 0.3% return per bet. If you are making half a percent a day, every day, that adds up really quickly.

Placing an arb

When you click into an arbitrage bet, it looks almost exactly the same as when you are using a bonus. If there are options, we give them to you. In this case there are not.

Choose the one you want, click Place Bets, make sure the information matches at both sportsbooks, get both bets down, save it, and it shows up in your open hedges feed.
